the 24th

One thing I love about living in Utah is that you get two holidays that are celebrated like the 4th of July. ...the second being the 24th of July which is like Utah's B-day I think... I should know this ... it happens to be my mother's birthday as well... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

This year we went with the Schriever's to the Bee's game and had a great time. Although the game was canceled due to team illness we were still entertained by some All Star high school teams and an amazing 16 year old hitter Brice Harper (?) who was on the cover of Sports Illustrated last month... I don't know... but Drew seemed pretty impressed to see him play.

All in all this was the first time Ty has seen fireworks. He loved them and just totally chilled out watching them. He, Bree and Sophie loved watching the Bee mascott Bumble... excpet that Ty would freak out if he came to close crying "Scared Bumble mommy!!"

Yummy ice cream face.
Ty was totally getting down and dancing every time the music came on.

Spoiled

Drew's parents bought a vacation home in St. George this last month and I consider myself spoiled to to have another great place to get away to with family and friends. The house is perfect and has a pool in the back yard! It's also only like 15 minute drive to both Quail Creek and Sand Hollow Lakes so we couldn't be happier. We spent the 4th of July weekend there with most of Drew's family and had a great time breaking in the new house. I can't wait for more trips to come!

Drew taught Ty to scale the walls of the pool and he can do it all by himself!
