Viva Las Vegas... and St. George

Last weekend... well Thursday - Sunday we took off for a last minute get away to Drew's folks place in St. George and since my sister Inna had never been to Vegas we decided to take her down and spend all day Friday there. ... Just enough time to hit up my favorite outlet mall, visit the Belagio fountain and MGM lions, walk the strip a bit and take a ride on the NY NY roller coaster.

In George we swam... a lot and squeezed through the narrows... well Ty and Inna could just walk through! So much fun. I love last minute get aways!

Happy Third Birthday Ty!!

Ty's third birthday was yesterday and I can't believe how old he is getting! We had a little celebration with a "Cars" theme at Ty's request and it turned out so fun. Food, family, friends, presents, car races and Lightening McQueen and Mator cake. The day was great and Ty was in heaven. He is still excited about all his new toys and keeps asking if he can have his birthday again tomorrow.

Uhhh yeah... Danny couldn't take his eyes off the balloons and Ty couldn't take his

eyes off the cake! :)

I am no cake decorator but this was so fun...

yes it took a long time...

and I am already thinking about what to make for Drew and Danny's birthdays!

A big surprise was that my parents showed up for the party and I had no idea they were coming! They made the drive out from California and surprised us all. They are still here visiting us and we are having a blast.

So Ty I love you. I can't believe you are three... growing up so fast. So sad!!

Danny Boy is about the house

Danny boy turned 9 months old last week and also started crawling! He is a slow motion crawler... it's cute. He pulls himself up on everything and gets so excited when he does. He is still the biggest sweetheart and I hope that doesn't change. Ty and him have started to wrestle a bit and love to play together which had been really fun to see. Ty always laughs and tells me something funny "Danny Boy" did. Brother bonding is awesome.

My 19 year old sister Inna moved in with us a few weeks ago while she finishes high school at the Adult Ed high school in Sandy. It has been great having her around. She is very helpful around the house and with the kids... love having a live in nanny :) ... She is looking for a job if anyone knows of anything let me know! In the meantime she is always up for babysitting and cleaning houses.

So... life is sweet.
