This weeks projects

Is he not the cutest little bug ever... I just want to nibble on his nose and cute little cheeks. Since the weather was nice like two days this week... and snowing on the other days!... Ty and I were able to go for a walk. He was still bundled up... but loved every minute of being outside and in a stroller. I can't wait for this weather to make up it's mind and let us take walks every day.

Some fun projects I've been doing this week. My friend Amanda and got the idea to do these letters for all the seasons... I've only finished V-day so far..., family, and she did her girls names... aren't they so cute... and they have been so much fun to make and decorate.

Sylvie-Anne, Salem, & Silver Falls

I've spent this last week hanging out with my great friend Sylvie (friends from BYU-Hawaii)... she lives in Salem, OR while her husband attends Law School. She had a little baby girl... Leia... born the same day as Ty and we haven't been able to get together until now. The two kids had so much fun playing together... so did we.

Here we are at Silver Falls... it's so beautiful. The hike was a bit strenuous when you're caring an extra 20 lbs... and it even managed to rain and hail while we were making our way up the mountain... the kids were so great and didn't complain once.

You actually get to walk behind the falls... and get soaking wet... it's so fun.

Although it was a little cold... both Ty and Leia were toopers.

Of corse... we had to take a trip to the beach!

And here the two of them are having a blast in this awesome shopping cart... extremely hard to steer though. Ty would drive the wheel and Leia would look at him and put her hand on his shoulder... it was too cute.

People in the store kept asking if they were twins.

We had such a great time while we were there... the time went by way to fast. Ty's going to miss having a buddy to play with, eat with, and bath with.

My sister gave birth yesterday to a 10.8 lb baby... ouch... except that she ended up having to have a C-section. We are so happy that both mom and baby are happy and healthy. ... look at all his blond hair! What a little stud muffin.

Grandma's Day!

Last Friday Drew's mom took all nine grand kids to Discovery Gateway and the kids had a blast. I think Ty had more fun watching all the chaos of kids running everywhere, bright lights and fun noises. He really enjoyed playing in the ball area... except that he wanted to shove every ball into his mouth...yucky... I know. The kids got to do fun art projects and play all day. They have a wonderful grandma who loves to spend time with them. Thanks Grandma!!!

My new workspace and my new computer!

My new computer!! I've been saving up for this and finally last week I was able to get it. I've had so much fun with it and I love having my own computer. ...Drew works from home and is on the computer ALL day... so ... now I get to check blogs and digital scrape book during the day instead of early in the morning or late at night!!

A few weeks ago I found this amazing desk at Robert's Crafts... of all places... and I love it. You buy everything in separates... most all the pieces are cubes... and then they have the desk top and different shelves and accessories you can buy to go with it. I'm happiest when I'm organized or organizing... this desk keeps it all in order.
