the 24th

One thing I love about living in Utah is that you get two holidays that are celebrated like the 4th of July. ...the second being the 24th of July which is like Utah's B-day I think... I should know this ... it happens to be my mother's birthday as well... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

This year we went with the Schriever's to the Bee's game and had a great time. Although the game was canceled due to team illness we were still entertained by some All Star high school teams and an amazing 16 year old hitter Brice Harper (?) who was on the cover of Sports Illustrated last month... I don't know... but Drew seemed pretty impressed to see him play.

All in all this was the first time Ty has seen fireworks. He loved them and just totally chilled out watching them. He, Bree and Sophie loved watching the Bee mascott Bumble... excpet that Ty would freak out if he came to close crying "Scared Bumble mommy!!"

Yummy ice cream face.
Ty was totally getting down and dancing every time the music came on.

Ty watching the fireworks.

Yes, the 24th is Pioneer Day, we even celebrate it at our wards in California.. Love all the pictures! Benjamin kept pointing to them and saying, "Ty Ty!, Ty Ty sleeping. No, Ty Ty not sleeping. Cous (cousin) Ty!" It was very cute! By the way, yesterday we were looking for Benjamin's Sunday tie and were asking him where his tie was he said, "No, Mama. Ty Ty sleeping. Ty Ty went bye-bye." He still does "Boom-Boom-Pow!" followed by "Where Ty Ty?" He also does "down, set, hut. Thank you very much Drew! :)
