Drop and Give Me 10!

So Ty hasn't crawled yet... but he's on his way and he is so hilarious doing it. He gets on his knees great but hasn't figured out how to get the motions down so he lifts him self up like he's doing push-ups on his toes... it's so cute. He also looks like a disabled inchworm when he's trying to get things or get somewhere... here's a cute video of him doing it... enjoy... we sure do... :)

Side Note: Ty's not wearing tights!
So... Now that spring is here Ty wears shorts almost every day and now that he's on his knees most of the time I noticed his knees getting red and rash like. My friend Amanda gave me these great "Baby Legs" that are just like leg warmers to protect their knees. They have worked great. You can find them at Target. Drew thinks they look a little girly... but he only wears them in the house and not in public :)

St. George and then onto Vegas!

So... we spent this last week in St. George with great friends camping and boating... yeah!! I'm so happy summer is here again! ... except that we had todrive to St. George to get some sun... it's cold and raining still here in Salt Lake. :( ... We had such a great time... the water was glass and wake boarding was so great. Ty loved the water... he's so brave... I even took a little time getting in the water and he was just splashing and loving it.

Drew and I then took off just the two of us for a few days in Vegas for our anniversary. I missed the Ty guy but we had a great time together. We went and saw KA by Cirque Du Soleil... it was amazing! I serious was nervous for some of the performers thinking they might fall or something. If you're ever in Vegas... I highly recommend it.

Happy 5 years!

Today Drew and I celebrate our 5th anniversary.... I can't believe it's been 5 years and at the same time it seems like we've been married a life time. Drew you are such a fabulous husband and these last 5 years together have been so great. You still make me laugh more than anyone I know and I love all our dumb inside jokes that no one will ever get but us. You are the best at so many things... like guitar hero, our finances, and being a dad. I love you more now than I ever have and I can't wait for the many years ahead. ps... I'll make you an ice cream shake and grill cheese sandwich anytime! :)

Ty's cute wave

So... Ty has learned to wave "hi" and "bye" and it is the cutest thing in the world. Every time we take him upstairs to sleep he waves to whoever is down below and the best part is when we take him downstairs in the morning ... when nobody is there... he waves and smiles as if someone is there... it's hilarious.

This second video Ty is watching his Baby Einsteins... he waves without taking his eyes off the T.V... it's so stinkin' funny. I love his new talent... skill... I don't know what you call it but I love it.

Bath Buddies

So this week during one of the Jazz play off games our friends were over watching the game... it was time for Ty's bath before bed and Sophie decided to join him. Bree saw how much fun they were having and jumped in with them and the our other friends little boy Brooks got down to his diaper and put his feet in. It was one cute party in the tub and the kids loved it. Ty was waterlogged by the time we finally pulled them out. ...Ty loves hanging out with his his buddies Sophie and Bree. Thanks to Tanya for being our photographer!

Happy Mother's Day!

First... I need to give a little shout out to my mom on this special day... Happy Mother's Day mom! You've always been such a great mom and I appreciate all that you do and have done for me... and I love you.
Second... this is my first Mother's Day as a mom! ... And I love it. Drew woke me up with french toast this morning... my favorite... and made a really cute card. Oh... and so far he has changed TWO of Ty's diapers... already it's a great day.

Can I just say how much I love being a mom. Ty is like the cutest little baby ever. My favorite thing about him these days is the way he is totally entertained by the simplest things... like the zipper on his jacket and his own fingers and toes... he's in his own little world when he discovers these things ... like 20 times a day... it's really cute. Also how he will by pass all his fun colorful toys to get his hands on the remote control or my cell phone.

To all the mom's ... and mother's in the future... on this special day... Happy Mother's Day!

*Thanks Tanya for the pictures!
