I've been tagged!

Okay so this is actually the second time I've been tagged and I just never got around to doing it the first time...sorry Amanda. So...with Nicki tagging me this time...I figured I'd better do it.

The rules are: Once you have been tagged you have to write a blog with 10 weird random things, facts, or habits about yourself. At the end, you choose 10 people to be tagged. Don't forget to leave a comment that says, "you are tagged" on their profile and tell them to read your blog.

1. I'm terrified of spiders..not your typical "eek there's a spider", but... "AHHHH!!" ...a rush of crazy...lack of breathing... and a strong urge to take off all my clothes (for some reason I think if I take my clothes off I'll be able to feel it if the spider is on me..like I said rush of crazy)

2. OCD on organization...I keep my own house very organized...but where the weird ocd in me comes out is when I walk into others peoples homes or a certain room that feels disorganized...I spend the first few seconds...minutes...rearranging the furniture and pictures on the walls in my head so that it is organinzed....yeah..I'm a little co co.

3. Like Nicki...I to am a beach girl. If I could live anywhere in the world I would pick the North Shore on Oahu Hawaii...hit the beach everyday...soaking up the sun..ahhh. Ride my long board skateboard along the beach walk....watch Ty learn to surf...that would be the life.

4.To fall asleep at night...I rub my toes to together...first I rub my toes on Drew's feet and when that drives him crazy...the I rub myown toes together.

5. I still have trouble with my rights and lefts...yeah I know.

6.The way to my heart is the "Great Wall of Chocolate" from PF Chang's...oh baby it's good! Yummy chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry sauce with fresh berries to top it off...yum.

7.I once was in a campus movie where I played a secret agent named Jade.

8. Still after 12 years of driving I have trouble backing up...a few months ago I knocked off my side view mirror backing out of the garage. I have hit over 20 different abjects while backing up... including poles, parked cars, fire hydrants and boulders..luckily never any people.

9. I named my tummy "Cliff" when I was in like the sixth grade...Drew has taken the liberty of naming a few of my other body parts...no I can't give any more info than that.

10. And lastly when Ty is being fussy (and Drew's not home) I've found that if I put on hip-hop music and dance for him...he's totally entertained.

We moved Ty into his nursery...and his crib.

A happy... yet sad time has come into our lives. Sad because my little cutie pie won't be sleeping next to me... even after four months I still look at him in the middle of the night to make sure he's okay and still put my hand on his chest to make sure he's breathing. Luckily we got one of those angle monitors that have a sensor...if the sensor stops moving for more than 10 seconds an alarm goes off...I even checked to make sure it works... so I can rest a little easier. Happy because now maybe Drew and I can get a little more sleep and we won't have to whisper when we stay up talking.
Last night was the first time he's slept in his crib. He did really well and I didn't have to get up once to make sure he was okay. I put him in the middle of the crib when he went to sleep and somehow by morning he had moved all the way to the top of the crib...I didn't know he could move!!
And the close up...Happy as a clam... as long as he has his little buddie to snuggle up with.

Here he is chill'in in his chair...this is where he used to get fed in the middle of the night...now this is where we sit and read stories.

Ty's 4 months old today!

Today Ty turned 4 months old! I can't believe how time flies. He went in for his shots and check up and came out weighing 16.10 lbs!!!! Big boy...lots of chub... and even some little man boobs. Shots were not pleasant...he ran a fever...and didn't eat or sleep for 3 days straight...I had no idea this was normal!!...It scared me to death. But he's okay now...I'm exhausted...but he's okay.

He's back to watching Baby Einstiens in his bumbo chair and eating PLENTY! Did you know it costs us about 40$ a week to feed this little guy...I mean big guy. That's okay he's worth every penny. The Dr. wants us to start working with him on rollling over and scooting in a circle...the kid is so content in life that he loves to just sit and chill. "oh...you want me to move over there to get my binky..nay...to much work...I'll just suck on my fingers instead." I love him cause he's so easy and such a happy baby though. He just makes me smile.

Ty's First Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I loved everyone's Christmas cards!!!...so cute! I missed blogging while we were away at my parents...crazy how addicting this gets. Christmas was so much fun. It was so fun to be with family and friends. Ty was great...he either slept through everything or smiled though everything...he was very cute enjoying all the excitement. Here are a few photos from our holiday events.

We didn't get many pictures at the Pearson's Christmas party...failure on my part. we got together the night before Drew,Ty and I left for Cali and celebrated Christmas with the cousins...9 cousins to be exact so you can imagine how much energy was in the house...I loved it. We pick names for cousin gifts...this was our first year now that we have Ty..We had Peyton's name and i got him cute clothes..boy was that a mistake I will never make again...Everyone else opened their presents and got toys...he opened his and started crying.

I don't know if everyone knows but my parents adopted two 16 year old twin girls from the Ukraine last May...Inna and Alina. They didn't know any English when they got here but have caught on quickly. They are so much fun and I love having them for sisters. The entire time we were at my parents they were like my little nanny's one was always holding Ty while the other one pushed his stroller. They fought over who got to feed him and even changed his diaper and put him to bed for me!! A week of luxury. What will Ty and I do without them!

He met all his cousins on my side for the first time and of course they all got dressed up in their matching jamies for the big day...do you know how hard it is to get three small babies to pose for a picture?...that's a lot of work and about 20 pictures before you finally give up and pick from what you've got. Here's Ty in his Santa hat...barely big enough for his big noggin. He was more interested in all the action going on around him then opening up his own presents.

Christmas at home always involves a trip to the beach...lucky us...except it was freezing so we took a few quick photos and jumped back in the car.
