Danny... our CRAZY little one year old

Don't let this innocent poor little picked on brother act fool you... this kid can hold his own. He doesn't have a whole lot of words yet... except "no no no" over and over again while you catch him doing something he shouldn't. But actions speak louder than words. If you turn your back on him for just a minute you can find him doing one of the following... and I have only captured like a 3rd of what he does on camera!

This little man is our mess maker... he gets into everything!! Ty never did this much, so this is a learning experience. He is our little terrorist around the house but we still love and laugh at him!

Some of my favorite Ty-isms:

Mom: Ty hurry... pick that up

Ty: no mom... I'm not the girl!

Ty's been working on having a dry diaper at night... this is one morning...

Ty: Mom... I peed in my diaper. Can I have a new one?

mom: No Ty it's morning lets just take that one off you.

Ty: But the sun is still down... I'm going back to sleep.

(he takes off to his room... is quiet for less than a minute then comes running back in our room...)

Ty: Mom! I didn't pee in my jammies! Now can I have my transformer surprise!

Mom and Dad: Ty do you want a new baby to come into our family?

Ty: Ya... I want a black one.

I put Danny down for his nap... a movie on for Ty and then lay down on the coach and close my eyes...

Ty: Mom... sorry... the sun is not down... you can't sleep... sorry mom... sorry.

And he really didn't let me close my eyes!

After going to the bathroom... standing up...

Mom: Ty wash your hands

Ty: Why!?

Mom: Because we always wash hands after we go to the bathroom cause you touched your wiener and it's dirty.

... the next time he goes... he stands up pulls his pants down and sticks his pelvis out to aim in the toilet... no hands involved...

Ty: MOM! I don't have to wash my hands... I didn't touch my wiener!

.... and he has tried to use this excuse ever since!

New Recipes...

So I am in need of some new recipes. Anyone have any new favorites? I can tell it's time for something new when Drew grabs for a bowl of cereal instead of what I made for dinner... even when he usually loves what I made... he just gets tired of things so fast! Dinner ones are the most needed but I will take any!

Baby # 3... is on it's way!

"Guess what? .... Our mom has another baby in her Tummy!"

We couldn't hardly believe when we discovered the news. But we are so excited! We thought Danny was maybe a one time deal so we never took any kind preventatives after he was born. And yeah! I am officially in my second trimester and due July 27th.

Ty is a Sunbeam!

His first day and he was so proud. This group that just came in is so full of personality... I feel kinda sorry for his teacher... but she is going to be fully entertained and will have so many stories to tell!

Once there was a Snowman

Todays activities... we called Dad out to see our snowman and he had to go and make one twice as big! Ty is still so proud of our wii one... and has checked the window like 100 times to make sure they haven't melted.

Danny's Walking! It's so cute.

So last week Danny started walking and is so ecstatic about it. He gets so excited and then looks at you for praise. I love this stage of walking where they just look like they are going to fall over all the time... and half the time they do. ... and they would so much rather crawl cause it's so much faster... but they feel so awesome and proud when they walk. He is pretty cute!
