Happy Birthday Drew!!

Still to this day he wears a jersey almost every day when on summer vacation.

This man seriously is so much fun!

Drew turns 29 today! ... for only two months out of the year Drew and I are the same age... so I get two months off from being teased about how old I am... nice eh! :)

Happy Birthday!

My 29 of my favorite things about Drew are...

1. What a great dad you are
2. Watching you wake board
3. The Dice game
4. How you know all the words to almost any Carpenters and Neil Diamond song
5. Watching you play basketball
6. How super smart you are with finances
7. When you pretend you are Edward... and bite my neck trying to turn me on :)
8. Your eyes
9. The way you stick out your tongue to the side when you are really concentrating
10. When you wrestle with Ty and teach him sports stuff like  "down, set, hike!"
11. How you love doing yoga on the Wii fit
12. Your self confidence
13. What a devoted Cougar fan you are
14. Your hot pecs
15. How you would do anything for you friends
16. Watching you use feeding the ducks bread as "throwing practice" for Ty
17. That you will take walks with me around the neighborhood
18. How devoted you are to doing your calling... all though it takes a lot of your time & energy
19. When you send texts to your friends during church... when they are sitting right next to you
20. How much I trust you with almost any decision
21. How good you are at Mario Cart on the Wii
22. How you read books with Ty on our bed in the morning
23. How you're not afraid to speak your mind... unless it's your mother you're speaking to :)
24. How even after 6 1/2 years of marriage you still get gitty when you see me naked
25. How excited you get for Football season
26. How devoted you are at going to the gym each morning
27. When you take me on the wave runner & try to throw me off... seriously it's so fun!

My parents came to visit!

My mom and dad came to stay with us this past week and it was so great to have them here. They were able to be here for Ty's birthday which was so great. They had fun shopping and hanging out with us... they especially had a great time out boating. I was shocked when they both wanted to try skiing after it had been so long since they had done it. We even got my dad on a wake board! I was so impressed and Drew was even more impressed! We had so much fun with them and hope it isn't to long before they come see us again!!

Ty turned two!!

Happy Birthday Ty!!!

A Pirate Party!

The Treasure Hunt!!

Ty's new toys!

My parents came for his birthday this year and Ty loved having them here.

So... I can't believe Ty is TWO!!

Ty is such a cute little man... and even though he is hitting the terrible two's and everything is "MINE!" he still manages to melt my heart and crack me up with his funny personality.

He is such a boy and loves his sports, trucks, cars, and tools... yet he has his sensitive side and loves to cuddle, watch movies, give kisses and wear my high heels!

He plays in the tub for like an hour every morning.
His favorite movies are Nemo and Cars
His favorite foods are mac and cheeses and hot digitty dogs
He watches Mickey Mouse Club house and Handy Manny every morning
He talks like it's nobodies business and asks everyone he knows... "what are you doing? ... or "where are you going?"
His best friends are Sophie and Bree but he loves and asks for his cousins all the time!!

We love you Ty Guy!!!

Thank you everyone for coming to the party!!

Summer visitors

This past week were able have two sets of visitors under one roof and although I was a little unsure how it would work out... it was great. My sisters came for the week and also our great friends Julia and Marie Murphy were here for the week dropping Marie off at school.

We had a great time with all our company and spent a lot of time boating and playing.
Drew and Ty together behind the boat... Ty is like a pro now... it's so cute!
We took a trip up to Snowbird with everyone and had a great time. We rode the tram to the top and enjoyed the beautiful view.

Rode the Alpine slide... here is Julia and Marie.
The zip line... and yes I did this! Drew rode it first to make sure it would be safe for me to ride.

Me and Inna at the top.

Also... my sister came to visit a few weeks back. Her husbands sister was getting married out here so we were able to have them come stay with us for a week. We had a great time shopping and even took a few days and went up to Bear Lake for a little fun get away. Her two kids Ben and Sam and so cute and Ty still asks where they are.

Anyone else want to come visit?!!! I love having visitors... seriously!

Baby Update

So... I finally got a tummy picture... to be completely honest until a few weeks ago I just looked fat and not pregnant... so showing tummy pictures wasn't happening. I am now past my 24 week mark and feeling like a champ. I almost feel bad because this pregnancy thing has been a breeze and I know it isn't for most people. I feel great I still am able to work out a few times a week and seriously forget I'm pregnant most of the time until I look down or look at myself in the mirror!

As far as names go... we have nothing.... well, as far as Drew goes this little man is already named Harvey ... after Harvey Unga (sp?) ... a BYU running back(?) ...yeah... we'll see... but we are getting no where with this! Good thing we have a few more months right!

I love you mommy

Ty told me he loved me today for the first time as we were driving in the car and I had to write it down so I wouldn't forget. It was the sweetest thing ever to hear.

Ty's new ski

So... Drew totally splurged and bought Ty this super cool ski meant for toddlers... or small kids... or in our case even some adults :) It's awesome because it has spots for the kids to put their feet in like a ski and they hold a rope like a ski but it is totally a tube! First we dragged Ty on the grass outside our house, then dragged him in the water and then behind the wave runner and finally took him behind the boat! He was awesome... he'll be up on skii's in no time... at least that's the hope right.
Grandma promised a shake to anyone who tried the skii... meaning the grandkids... but Drew was all about getting a free shake!!

Here's Ty behind the boat he wasn't very happy about it at first and wouldn't let go of his star burst... but he did chill out and enjoy the ride after a few seconds... and then the battery died in my camera... so the video is short... but what a stud!

Here's Ty behind the wave runner... he's so cute... he totally let go to wave to everyone!

And here he is being dragged in the water... you can see how the EZ ski works.

If anyone wants to take their kids out for a ride let us know!! We'd love to take them! ... Bree and Sophie... you are next! :)
