Father's Day

We spent the afternoon up at Mill Creek Canyon.

Drew,
You couldn't be a greater dad. I am so happy you are the father of my children. I love watching you play with the boys and I really love it when you sit down and teach them something that they are so focused on learning from you. You are the best dad in the world and and your boys look up to you more than you'll ever know. I love you.

Going Back to Cali... to Cali

My pictures are out of order but you get the idea. We spent last week in California visiting my family. My sister Alina graduated from high school and we were so happy for her. She was beaming and looked beautiful. We also went down to Sacramento area to see me sister and spend sometime with all my nieces and nephews. Lots of playing in the yard and eating great food. We celebrated Jake's 3rd Birthday.

We went to Six Flags one day with everyone and had a great time... I need another day there to do all the rides! Ty and Drew rode an elephant while we were there and also had a tug a war with an elephant. Ty was in heaven.

I always love going home... it had been a year since I was home! And a week just wasn't enough time.

Glass

Ty: mom you are glass

mom: glass? why am I glass Ty?

Ty: cause you're berry (very) special... you're glass!

what a sweetheart :)

And apparently I have said, "Ty... this is glass... it's very special... please don't play with it" one to many times.

Bumps and Bruises

My accident prone child. Just when the other scraps had healed...

We were at Sue and Preston's Sunday night for Peyton's 5th birthday party and Ty was having a blast playing with all the kids outside. After some of the kids had come inside to eat and open gifts... I looked out the window and noticed there weren't any kids outside at all. "Where is Ty?" I thought and immediately headed outside to find him. Outside all I heard was the sound of Ty crying for mommy and daddy and found him in the bottom of a near by window well covered in dirt and tears with a huge goose egg and cut on his forehead. My heart sank! The poor little guy... I have no idea how long he was in there or how he fell in there. I'm so glad he is okay. We found two other goose eggs on the back of his head and scraps on his legs... nice.

First Boating Trip of the Season

Drew is already anxious to get Danny on the ski... don't worry this was as far as he got :)

We went for a quick fun little get away this past week with our friends Koby and Emily and enjoyed a well needed boating trip and some sunshine! This was Danny's first time on the boat and he didn't seem to mind the life jacket at all... it was a new chew toy :) And Ty had fun cheering everyone on and making sure they were okay whenever someone fell wake boarding. And although the water was a little cold it was so great to be in water! It has been a long time since I've been able to wake board... I was prego last summer... so it felt great to get back out there... although my body isn't to sure... it's still sore when I walk! :) Ohhh I LOVE summer. Now let's start getting a little more sunshine up here in Salt Lake!!

Randomness with Danny

Danny is a boy who is so easily happy. Whenever I am making dinner all I have to do is set him on the counter next to me in his bumbo... he loves to watch and feels fully entertained... and yes I know it can be dangerous to have your baby in a bumbo on the counter but I watch him carefully I promise!
And finally I got a photo of Danny and his buddy Bronson. Already they love reaching for each others faces. ... They are going to be great partners in crime I can already tell... just like their older siblings Ty and Sophie.
And finally my favorite part of the day is playtime with dad... maybe this is why Ty loves to wrestle and fight other kids too much... cause he loves rough housing with his dad... and now that Danny is getting older he is joining in on this fun!
