2 months old

Danny is 2 months old today and I can't believe how the time is flying. He is all smiles these days and has bee n such a good baby. I consider myself lucky to have had to easy babies to raise... toddlers are a different story :)

I feel great. Although I've been hitting the gym these last two weeks and it is much more difficult than I was expecting. My boobs hurt like crazy with all movement and my hips are still totally out of wack... so I can't work out as hard as I would like too. Sadly these last 20lbs are not coming off like the first 25. I still can't fit any of my jeans so I find myself still wearing my maternity pants and sweats... depressing. Hopefully I'll get there soon!! ...at least I have a cute little guy to show for all of this!

Say "Cheese"

I'm sure many of you have noticed Ty's funny eye... for some odd reason when the camera is on him he smiles and closes his left eye... we have no idea where this came from but it totally cracks me up. I have to take like ten pictures to try and get one with his eyes BOTH open... so funny. I got it on video... totally by accident I was trying to video how funny he is when you ask him what he wants for lunch... a better video of that may follow... but for now... enjoy!

7 Weeks Old

My good friend Sarah just moved back from Florida last week... yeah! So happy to have her close again. She is a great friend that I grew up with in Cali and she is a great photographer... you can go to her photo website on my side bar Smylie Photography... she took some photos of Ty when he was a few weeks old and she took these sweet photos of Danny. LOVE them... LOVE him.

Growing so quickly

In hopes of getting a Christmas / Baby announcement card in the mail I threw a black table cloth on my table and took a few pictures... which surprisingly there were a few that really turned out cute... and all you really need is one good one right.

Danny you are growing so quickly. You are now getting too big for your new born sized clothes and making the change to 0-3 month clothes and I can't believe how much more alert you are.

You smiled the other day three times in a row and melted my heart.

You make the cutest noises... especially at night when we are trying to sleep.

Breast feeding is a beast but we are powering through this together. You are a great eater which makes it all much easier.

I know it takes time to connect and bond with new babies... but I am falling in love with you more and more every day. Your personality is beginning to come forth and I love seeing you become a little bundle of character saturated with sweetness.

Marie and the cutest table ever!

For the past few months we have had the privalage of having Marie Murphy live with us. Drew taught and baptised her family while on his mission about nine years ago and she came out here for college this past August. After a few crazy days of being here with her mom things began to fall apart with her original school plans of attending the U. Luckily the Lord works in mysterious ways and she has found herself at the school she was meant to attend. And we have been lucky enough to have her with us. She will be leaving us this next semester to live in the dorms and she will be greatly missed... especially by the Ty guy.

For Christmas her family surprised us with the cutest table from IKEA... LOVE IKEA! It is now part of Ty's heart and soul and he loves to do everything at his table. It is so stinkin cute! Thank You Murphys!!!

Christmas catch-up

We had a great Christmas. Ty's big present was a garage and car rug... with lot s of new cars and trucks of course! He is loving it and I am loving him being happily entertained. Drew told me though out the pregnancy that if I got an epidural that would be my Christmas present... our insurance doesn't cover maternity :(. ...so he wrapped up the bill and gave it to me for Christmas... lucky the man is smart and got me some other fun things as well... like new bar stools!

It was a great Christmas and we had a lot of fun together.
