Bed Rest

This last Monday I was put on bed rest after my apt didn't go so well because of high blood pressure, super swollen face, hands and feet, and lots of protein found in my urine. ...fun fun I know. I've had to go in every other day to get checked and so far I am borderline being induced... but bed rest is preventing that... so far. Less than two weeks until my due date!!! The good news is that I am 70% effaced and dilated to a two... so we are all hoping he comes a little early on his own so I don't have to continue on this bed rest!
In the mean time this is how Ty has felt about me being on bed rest and unable to play with him like I usually do! ...oh and we cut his curls after a lady in a store called him princess like 10 times! ... we decided it was time.
And the belly just keeps on growing!! I had know idea what uncomfortable was until now!
Luckily these two make me smile and Drew has been so great to help out with keeping the house up and entertaining this little ball of energy! Love these two!

And little baby boy... who your dad and brother like to call baby Harvey... I can't wait to meet you.

Ty's prayers...

So... Ty has been saying his own prayers before bed each night the last couple of weeks and sometimes even wants to before he takes his afternoon nap... so cute... and this was his prayer last night...

"Heavenly Father, thank you for mommy, thank you for daddy, thank you for mommies baby brother, thank you for Ty, thank you for grandma and papa, thank you for cougars, thank you for basketball, thank you for cosmo (BYU's Mascot), please bless Ty sleep good... Jesus... AMEN!!"

Ha ha ha... maybe it's because he's mine little man but I thought this was hilarious... and so sweet at the same time.

Also... he has a book that has a picture of a cougar in it and whenever he gets to that picture he says, "GOOOO... Cougars!" ... So funny... it's on the video.

His dad hasn't been teaching him anything about being a BYU fan :)

Drew, Tom and Koby officially got their license the other day for their property management company. I am so happy and proud of them. They have been working on this for quite some time so we are all happy to be at this point!! They manage rentals including so far homes, condos, town homes, and have two apartment complex's all throughout the Salt Lake Valley and up into Bountiful. Drew is still doing mortgages but is enjoying this new business and can't wait to see it grow even more now that it is offical.

Happy Halloween!

Ty was a very cute BYU football player and loved dressing up this year. He had his costume on all day and totally was in character wanting to "down, set, hike" every where we went to day including isles in Sam's Club... super cute. Super proud and he was trained to say "Go Cougars!" when people would ask him what he was fpr Halloween.

Ty and his cousin were rivals and so cute together constantly tackling each other... sadly Ty was taken many more times than Carson!!

And then some fun trick-or-treating around our neighborhood with best friends Bree and Sophie.
Our family... Ty with his funny cheeser and me with my super swollen face and 8 months prego body... and Drew looking fabulous! We had a great day!

Pumpkin Patch and a Party

It was so much fun taking Ty to a pumpkin patch this year to pick a pumpkin. He wanted to carry that little pumpkin every where. Mostly he loved the tractor and all the other play things they had for all the little kids to play on.



Marie came with us to the pumpkin patch... we got some really great pictures of her... this is just one of them.
We then hosted a pumpkin carving party at our house with all our friends that live in our complex. It was great fun and Ty had so much fun playing with friends. He didn't enjoy the pumpkin part of it to much though... he thought it was pretty gross.


Koby & Emily came as "Baby Mama" they were so hilarious!!
Jaxson, Sophie and Ty... they all started sining "Happy Birthday" when we lit the candles for the pumpkins... so cute!!

Ty's Two Year Old Pictures

Ty had his two year old pictures taken a few weeks ago and we just got them back! I am in LOVE... and maybe that's because I am in love with the subject :) He actually did pretty well considering he never sits still. We persuaded him with suckers. I can't believe how big he has gotten in a year! I have his one year old picture next to this years picture and it is crazy the difference... he has hair! and he looks like a little boy.

Ready to POP!

Just when you think you can't possibly stretch any further!!! Less then eight weeks and grateful to have that time to prepare and enjoying every little movement this little guy makes... except when it's on my bladder... I can't believe how fast the time is flying.

I am getting so nervous for the labor and yet so excited to have a new little baby to love and care for. Ty has been so cute and wants to kiss my tummy all the time. He still thinks he has a baby in his tummy and is so cute about it. We've been contemplating potty training before this guy comes but I'm just not sure he's ready. He has used the big and little potty about a dozen times... so we'll see.

Pregnancy has still been treating me good. I am starting to feel VERY large and uncomfortable. A little swelling in my face, hands and feet and lots of tingling when I bend over to pick something up. Daily naps while Ty is napping saves me but sadly my house cleaning is slowly falling apart and drives me crazy!... but I'm feeling to tired to care at the same time. All in all it has been a great experience and I couldn't be more grateful.
